The Lucky Mud Travelling Medicine Show

LUCKY MUD - Slow Burn -  Written in late 1991 for a session underwritten by Corday Productions. All tracks were engineered and mastered by Brent D. Nelson and recorded at Ocean Way Studios in Hollywood, CA.

LUCKY MUD - Fallin' Down - - Lucky Mud recorded numerous tracks at the, "House of hits" (Kenny's back yard studio in Burbank, CA) from 1989 through 1996. This is the Lucky Mud Traveling Medicine Show having fun and making some noise. Enjoy

ANGELO J's TRACKS This music is performed in it's entirety by yours truly on all guitar's, and my dear cousin Sammy Merendino, whose drumming and loop's are the foundation for all of my recorded music. Catch Sammy here.

Angel - First tune that I successfully co-wrote with cousin Sammy Merendino - An instrumental track, almost hip hop, but with Blues Power guitar solos and lot's of Wah Wah. Very funky. Sammy is currently on tour with Cindy Lauper, so check him out when they play live at a venue near you. We gave him the nick name of 'Sammy the Bull' becuase he is so solid and intense when he rips it up live.

Big Daddy - A Tone Poem with my down tuned PRS "McCarty" model guitar. Instrumental version. The guitar is strung with extra heavy string's and down tuned to "C" which gives it thick and rich 'piano' tone on the bottom and funky "slide" feel on the top.

Big Daddy Speak's - Same as Big Daddy but with a cameo by Blues Legend, Finis Tasby - Telling it like it is regarding life in 2002. Finis is a great blues musician. You can find him down in LA at BB King's or up here at John Lee Hooker's - Boom Boom Room. The man has soul!

Good Woman - Rock & Roll diddy about my baby, just for fun. I was
experimenting with Pro Tools and recording my voice when I decided that it was fun enough to release as a free, MP3.

Slammin Hodown -  A short little dittie that was put together with Sammy “The Bull” Merendino working his magic.  I laid down some weird bass line melodies and this felt a little carnival like and even rodeo, oh well...dig it.

HOG - "Hooked On Golf" theme music, which air's on Fox Sport's Net. Fox asked for some personalized "morning due" music and I was flattered to be a part of the show. Thank you, "Benny" for the opportunity to be a part of the show and for your friendship. "Stay tuned for more Hooked On Golf".....

Black Aces - Fox Sports TV, included this music in a revealing expose about breaking down ethnic barriers in professional baseball. This revealing documentary was created, produced and filmed in it's entirety by my good friend, Dave "Benny" Benzer and won an EMMY in the Sports Segment category at the San Francisco Chapter Emmy Awards ceremony, May 14, 2005. Congratulations David for a job well done! Check it out...

The Rossi Brothers

What Love Will Do For You (.aif format) - I produced two, "Blues" CD's under the label, RB Records. I chose to place a couple tracks from the, "Rain Of Tears" CD, recorded in 1998 here to see if anyone is listening. This is Marvin Banks singing a funky blues classic written by "Little Milton". Enjoy!

Traveling Blues (.aif format) - Sammy Merendino went out and recorded the train sounds for this track and Marvin Banks can be heard in the background singing his heart out. Roots acoustic blues with a slippery bottleneck feel.

What We Do For Love (.aif format) - Latin blues and Santana feel with great horn lines written by, Dave Stone, Sax, Tom Poole on Trumpet and Terry Russell on Trombone. The hammond and bass guitar are pure Robert Berry (Hush, Cabo Wabo, etc.) and David Lauser (Sammy Hagar) is on the traps. Nice!
